portavogie culture and heritage society

Portavogie Culture and Heritage Society is a group of dedicated people who volunteer their time to collect and display the culture and heritage of Portavogie and the surrounding towns and villages of the Ards Peninsula. With a rich history of Ulster Scots and one of the oldest fishing industries in the area this is a mighty task. With funding from the Heritage lottery fund several projects have been undertaken including working towards opening their own museum. This is not only bringing communities together but also people of all ages .

Portavogie Culture and Heritage Society has launched its latest booklet
